This Extra-Ordinary Title Sequence gives people a glimse into my everyday life. I was tasked with a project to take an ordinary every day task and accentuate it in the form of a title sequence. For this piece, I decided to compare and contrast how I got ready in the morning and how I got “unready” at night. While these routines are both different, they share a few similarities.

My process involved storyboarding out the scenes of what I planned on fimling. I thought it would be interesting to juxtapose the two tasks next to each other to show their similarities and differences. Along with this, I juxtaposed the digital typography on the complete opposite sides of the screen from each other to further the idea of contrasting tasks. For the in-camera typogrpahy, I incorporated it within the task I was doing to make it feel immersed in the moment.

This project taught me how to organize and create a motion piece. I also developed my skills in Adobe After Effects, using tools like the ease-in/ease-out. I also furthered my skills in storyboarding and organizing what to film.
